How are people supposed to register when online says it's closed and no there is no other registration information on the site?
If the lakes were reliably swim-able I think people wouldn't be as hesitant to register. There are limited open water swim opportunities in nova, the prior years event was cancelled due to an algae bloom, and people generally like to be able to practice in bodies of water that races occur in.
Perhaps the cost of the event is so much it turns people away.

Good. Last thing we need is to encourage regular people to be mediocre at multiple sports at once. Pick one.
